Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, has launched two new subscription plans in India, starting at ₹. 244/- per month. The new plans are called Basic and Premium+, and they offer users different levels of features and benefits.

Basic plan:

Both plans are currently available through the web platform only.

In addition to the new subscription plans, there have also been some changes to its existing Premium plan. The Premium plan is now priced at Rs 650 per month, and it includes all of the features of the Basic plan, as well as a larger reply boost and access to select exclusive features.

Post longer text and videos: Basic plan subscribers can post tweets up to 4,000 characters long and videos up to 10 minutes long. This is longer than the limits for non-subscribers.

Blue checkmark for verification: The blue checkmark is a badge that is assigned to accounts that are of public interest, such as government officials, celebrities, and journalists. Premium+ subscribers will automatically receive the blue checkmark, without having to apply for it.
